In a second step, publishers made PDF versions of their print editions available to their readers, so-called ePaper. These were pure replicas of the printed newspaper. Readers had to scroll and zoom in order to read the texts. That was a long time ago and a lot has happened.


ePapers are now seeing double-digit percentage increases in circulation and are also increasingly popular with young readers. And so it's no wonder that more and more publishers see the ePaper as an integral part of their digital strategy.
