Interactive apps in the four core markets

A large number iInteractive apps by Bauer in the four core markets of the UK, Germany, Australia and the USA were successful some time ago Purple migrated. Global unification of editorial systems for a better reading experience

Bauer Media has chosen Purple as the provider of an ePublishing platform for the migration of its international, interactive magazines. This step supports the media company's goal of standardizing its editorial systems and processes globally.

Scalability for all titles worldwide

"More flexibility and support for our editorial teams was at the top of our agenda. In addition, the need for mobile-optimized apps that can be created with little effort was crucial," says Jim Foster, Head of e-Publishing UK at Bauer Media.

Purple offers improved publishing workflows - from manually created Pixel Perfect apps using Adobe InDesign to automated content delivery. This allows both small and large editorial teams to create visually optimized content with a minimum of time and resources .

This scalability combined with a very high degree of flexibility were the main criteria for Bauer Media Group's decision to use Purple. The weekly digital magazines such as Grazia and MCN are also produced and published in just one day.
